garden skink

i have obtained a garden skink is there anything that i need to do before scenting a pinky like freeze for bugs n stuff if so how long. or do i not have to worry

You didnt catch it did you?

If not, you can just throw appropriate sized insects in the enclosure..

nah, just put it in a jar with the pinky so it gets skink urine on it. No need to freeze it unless you are feeding the skink to the snake.

you can just use the tail, you don even need to kill the little one that way.

I duno about scenting but I wouldnt feed a garden skink to anything as they could contain partasites like worms which can be harmful. If u insist u should freeze the item for a substantial amount of time.

no hes using it to scent a pinkie, i would never recommend feeding a live gecko/lizard.

just using the tail didnt work for me but i used an AHG....

I froze mine for about 4wks, i dont really know the correct science but i figured that should be ok as thats how long i freeze the rats before feeding.
