Heating help

I have a 10L click-clack that ive soldered vent holes in (and only burnt myself once!), and a perch too. im going to put down paper towel as substrate, 2 toilet rolls as hides and a ramekin (sp?) for a water bowl. the next thing before i get my snake is how do i heat it? I was thinking a heat mat and one of those point-and-click thermostats but i am rather limited by funds. what should i get? what brand model, price, etc...

just a heat mat that covers 1 third of the tub and a habistat on-off mat thermostat

Do you mean the Aussie sun heat mat? or one of those reptile radiators? what wattage/ temp should it be for a coastal carpet hatchie?

get the one with about the same dementions of the side of your click clack and tape it to the side
