hi guys what heat should i have for a childrens python in Melbourne

I live in the CBD and I have my children's pythons heat at 30degrees on one end and 26 for his cool end, hope this helps :)

My little guy seems to enjoy 32 during the day at the hot end and 24 at night. I'm not a fan of turning off the heat at night, it gets BLOODY cold where I am too.

Mine vary depending on age and if Im breeding them or not. I turn the heat off at night for all my herps. Remember that although areas like central Australia are hot in the day it drops down to very cold temps at night. If you know the locality of your snake it shouldnt be hard to get the temps from a smart phone weather application for that area.
It just depends on how exact you want to get. The general rule for beginners and a safe way to go is 32-34c during the day for a hot spot and 24-26c at night.
The most important thing is to keep them on a good thermostat.
