herping pics

[Ozzie Python]

Went out for a bushwalk yesterday around springbrook to try my luck at some herping. Weather wasn't the best and rained most the time, only found a few lizards (only got one ok photo of a land mullet), heaps of rock wallabies on the drive back home and some rats right up the top of a mountain with the clouds where it was absolutely freezing.

Anyway got some shots to show you how nice the area is, hopefully in the next few weeks i'll be setting the tent up and doing some of the longer walks deeper in the bush, and hopefully find some nice snakes.
