I have 2x diamond back carpet pythons. They are about 1 year old now but i got them when they were 2 months old. I now have them both in a 4 foot x 2 foot glass tank (ill put pics up soon). The mate i got them from bred them and has his adult snakes in a custom wooden tank, approx. 4 foot high by 3 foot.
I was wondering for diamond carpets is it best have them in a tank that is higher or longer?????
I recently got a mental frame (old shelves) from work and and when constructed it is about 1m x 1m and height i can make it up to 1.7m. I was going to use polystafoam to insulate and then add laminated tiles to water proof it.
My 2 snakes are happy in the glass tank at the moment but i will want a cage that i can reach into instead of coming from the top to get them.
As im new i will go through this site more and read more posts but just for the moment i need your help.
