i use a 450 x 450 mm heat mat under a tile that runs static which gives me a basking spot of 32-34' always and the heat lamp is over that, to warm the enclosure and create a ambient temp thoughout the daylight hours of 20-22 if i dont run heat lamp mine spend all day on there heat mats and dont leave them and the ambient temp is 15-16'. my enclosures are 4ft x2ft x2ft using Micro climate B1ME thermostat on 60watt heat lamp and if u have 25' at hottest point (basking area) it aint hot enough Woma requires 32-34' basking area or there abouts. your heat mat plugged in static (direct into 240)under a tile will give you the temp you need at around 32-34 on the surface of the tile, you should only run a very low wattage heat lamp to increase ambient air temp and only when regulated by Thermostat
