Sorry, I'm old school. The English language is being ripped to pieces and disrespected everyday, that to me is more sad than some venomous brown snake dying.

You know the worst thing - that wasn't even the article I was looking for - the other article was a truck driver that deliberately ran over the snake and I believe they called it a venomous brown (or something) and it was clearly a 7 foot carpet python!!!
