on a fb page is advertised a green tree snake for sale $400 how do i know if this snake is not a wild snake and is registered. also is this a good price apparently its a 2 year old snake.

Well you have a license and the seller has a license, you swap license details and the details of the snake are passed on to the governing body in your state to track the sale of the animal

Sorry read the post wrong, thought you were talking about a Green tree python, not a green tree snake...

Im pretty sure i read in a thread not long ago that you can get the sellers licence details and get the decc to check that its not a fake number...
