Lighting for a BHP

Hi guys,


i am thinking of changing my lighting to a Black Nite ceramic heat emitters. Now if i do do i have to added some other light in there. or would they be fine with just the heat light.

No mate, not unless you don't wanna be looking at it in the dark?

They do need a day /night photo period. But this can be achieved by being in a room that has daylight in it. I would co-incide the heat to come on in the daytime and then taper or drop the temp at night.

Add a daylight energy saving lighbulb with a few watts. Looks nice...
