i am interested in a pair of long necks,
and i was wandering what temperature i should keep the water at?
and what other foods do the eat except the frozen fish and pellets?
do the need a basking spot too?
cheers chris.

thanks tuttley, that is what i was looking for, would you believe it, i was reading this the other day, while i wasnt interested in turtles. lol

Craig's caresheet is a good starting point. Please dont take this as being negative, but please consider the animals welfare and your ability to meet those needs. It sounded from your post that your interest in turtles may be fleeting?
Every turtle fancier had a beginning to their love of turts, and perhaps this is yours. Consider all aspects of turtle husbandry, and if still keen, go for it! Turtles are the most wonderful of herps and will give you a lifetime of joy. Good luck :)
