The people have spoken!!

I've had a chat with Anthony and we'll be having a more traditional spit this year with lamb or pork.
It seems that most people like the thought of eating croc, just not on a spit. (besides it would look silly with an apple in it's mouth)
The croc burger will still be availabe for those of you who are keen.

Any other suggestions will be assessed on a case by case basis.:)

yay :) no croc on the spit.... its like a dog show having a dog on the spit.... just doesnt sit right ;)

Instead of Phil Emmanuel for entertainment this year we will have Jason L sucking out the eyes of a pig.

Dare I ask if anyone can do better?

nah seriously, the eyes are the best part of the pig, they don't taste like you would expect.. still bring Phil, I'll share one with him

what are you on about Hobo..... its already a pig on a spit?

Though I was looking forward to croc being on the menu...

I am sure there'll be a few spit roasts on that weekend

How about some mini spit roasts -suckling pig, lamb, veal, poussin, quail.

And a bloody big croc!!

We are all bunking at Steve's place Jase...aren't you invitd????

I wouldnt have eaten it, but it would have been a cool sight.

As long as we don't run out of grog then it's all good! Maybe exotics on the menu? I wonder if JW could be persuaded to supply a gator?
