really wish i didnt click on this thread... 98% chance me and the mrs will break up over this....

lol! I am very lucky that my Mrs loves all the herps *nearly* as much as I do.
Last week she said "I think the lizards need a bigger enclosure".

Okey Dokey!

I have not had one reptile taken by a cat to date (touch wood). Though it is an obvious issue which many people bring up and or have had poblems with.
I am actually a Landscaper By Trade which helped a little I guess.
Reptilife - I like that enclosure as it looks very natural. The beauty also of housing only skinks, you don't require the higher sides.
Thanks for the overall feedback.
Would love to see more outdoor enclosures from other members. I am about to buy acres and am thinking pretty big to some new pits / enclosures.

hey guys,
has anyone rigged up heat rock or basking spots for outdoor enclosures that are heavily shaded,
Would be great to get some ideas,
Have a lacie in aviary, neighbours trees are shading cage, ambient temp is high, i live in nth queensland.
however im worried there isnt a basking spot that gets hot enough for long enough
cheers
