Please help. Hatchling not feeding

make sure you only try and use fuzzy mice for feeding not rats some young snakes despise the taste and smell of rats not sure if its been said but only try to feed at night do not handle your snake untill its had a shed and a feed. Coastals can be annoying critters to get feeding good luck and be patient

Sorry Jess, I don't know of one breeder or vet who would suggest the use of oil on snakes. Can you tell me the circumstances under which this was suggested?

Just had a thought, couldn't the oil maybe, warm up and overheat the snake? Like if the snaked was slathered in oil...
