Hey there,
I am about to get my young Green Tree Python (Approximately 1 year old and 80 grams) home in the next week or two. The previous owner however is unsure of gender and is nervous to have the animal probed due to age and weight restrictions. Now I am not looking to have this done soon and will wait until he is older and has put on some condition. I am just looking ahead of time as I want to make sure I take my new friend to the right person. I do not want to cause prolapse and have read that 1 year and 150 grams is the rule to live by, but of course I am sure that is subject to species (A 1 year old scrub python is going to be a lot heavier than a 1 year old childrens python). I'm located in Western Sydney but I am willing to travel within reason so I don't stress my herp out.
So my question is! Green Tree Python probing:
Who?
Where?
When? (Age)
Weight?
Thanks so much for your help!
P.S Cost isn't an issue, I want the best for him/her.
