Hi all,

I'm Tony, 28, and just recently moved to Darwin (palmerston).

When I got here my mate had got himself a baby Coastal Carpet Python and I loved it. One month later i'm the proud owner of my very own Proserpine Carpet Python. (thats what the breeder said it was anyway.)

He's 1yr old and fairly tame but has a go when I reach in to get him. Once he's out he's fine.
I hope he'll settle down as he settles in to his new home.

Is there any need to wash your hands before handling? Thought the acid in our skin might not be good. I used to have green tree frogs years ago and that was the case.

Cheers Tony

washing your hands before and after is good hiegeine. haha
yeah, not so much acid, but incase u have touched something and they think its food.
if he is fiesty to get out, use a snake hook to get him out then handle him. thats what i do with my little childreni. when she use to be fiesty. he will settle down though
