Okay so i want to use a heat cord for my stimson python as the heat globe(infra-red 150watt) is good but seems to cling to it to get warm, and the temp seems to drop quickly afterwards so my question is can i tape (heat resitant) the cord to the inside of the bottom of the enclosure and then put a tile over it, I know i have to use a thermostat to monitor it, but would i still use the heat globe or would you ditch it all together?
My enclosure is made of melamine and measures 45cm wide x 65cm high x 4ft long.
