scratched glass

I was sanding back an enclosure today ready to re-paint it and I scratched the front viewing glass with the paper. Is there anyway to remove scratches from glass? Polish it with something slightly abrasive like toothpaste maybe? Any suggestions other than "buy new glass"?

off hand i dont think you will get it out unless you have a glass polisher best bet ring a glass place and ask them what you can do.

No worries.
But it can be polished out? Even if I have to take it somewhere and pay for it to be done?

most can be fixed the question is how big is the glass you want fixed cos more than not it will cost less just to replace it
try car polish turtle wax to keep in the herp spiret and plug a buffer into cordless drill, splog a bit on the glass and buff away and hope for the best
