setting up a tank/ coastal carpet

Hi there I've just designed a tank for my coastal carpet Python.
It's 1m wide, 800 high & 500 deep it's well over due My boys getting huge and is always trying to escape his current enclourse.
Im just wondering what you would suggest for watts on his basking lamp? I've looked everywhere and not much else is really helping me. I've read a few other threads on here today and seen the CHE lights are quite popular. His old tank had no thermostats or a thermometer, just a heat light and matt.
Id really love to set this tank up perfect for his needs so I need as much help as I can get. Information on where to buy, what wattage, everything you tell me will make a massive different. Thanks

Depends, what have you made the enclosure out of?

Glass opening doors at the front, glass sides, ply at the back with timber merbau slats on the inside and marine ply for the floor with a glass cut out for a heat mat.
