ok just settin up the marbled gex tubs and i put nearly 3 cms of sand in is this enough?? they like to dig right?? Also was thinking of getting a lil succulent plant to put in each... good idea or bad??? will the soil in the plant effect the gex???

3cm should be heaps, my marbles don't dig at all but prefer to hide in the pieces of wood provided. I can't see how a small plant will cause them any harm but make sure the soil isn't too moist.

do a google search on the type of plant you want to put in there to see if they are toxic to reptiles....
