Wrongly posted forum reply

Hi Ive recently messed uy a reply to a herp group.Totally new computer user, hence mistake. What l want to know if anyone is familiar with Acute focal bacterial enteritis.I know what it is,but dont know what caused it. And my baby was hand reared from 6mths,and given more love than l give any humans,so Im insulted that my care to my python is questioned. So if anyone has any intelligent comments or suggestions that may help ,would be appreciated. She was the love of my life, and lm shattered over her death. :(

You have misundersttod my post due to being sent to wrong site, but people like you mske me sick how dare you assume l didnt give my pyhoon enough love and care. I drive my snakes for a 3 hr trip to see a reptile specialist, for health checks regularly. You idiot.

Autopsy report it was a fast growing tumor in the esophagus - close to the heart and there wasn't anything that could have been done to keep her with us.

The vet is sending a bit off to get look at and is plaining on writing a paper on it.

im sorry to hear that Auz but thankyou for letting us know how it went.

0cojay0 sorry to hear that to - It hurt alot to lose a pet you love and care for alot.

Don't worry about that our thing - high on drugs by the looks of it.

I thought that a tumor might be the cause, as soon as the thread started.. Our atherton was pretty old too, she was my first snake.
Visible symptoms progressed very quickly, and came, seemingly, out of nowhere.
I loved her dearly, I still miss her, and cant put her in the ground. She has been in the frozen zoo for years now. I dont think any snake could hold the same place in my heart, she helped me over some tough times..
I hope the experience wasnt too traumatic, there is nothing worse than losing a seemingly healty snake that youve had for years, so quickly too.

Who knows, the research and paper your vet does on her may help other snakes in the future.

RIP snakey.

(dammit, I just made myself all sad....)

im sorry to here about your snake auzlizardking, its really heart breaking. last night i noticed the same thing with my atherton jungle male who is 8 years old and a very placid snake love it like my brother, im taking it to the vet this morning, the swelling is the size of a golf ball 2 thirds down from its body. I never thought somthing like this would happen to one of my snakes. sorry i cant send pics as my computer is really stuffed up at the moment and about to chuck it out the window into the rain.
ill stay in touch.
cheers steve
