I recently made some more fake hides and Bunnings no longer stock pondtite so I used Crommelin Waterproofing Pond Sealant which states:
flexible Non-toxic waterproofing membrane and is waterproof + pH neutral

I have noticed however after putting them in the enclosures with heat that they leave a toxic smell. I've made plenty before with Pondtite with no problems so I'm certain it's the Crommelin. There are items which I haven't used after a month and even they leave the smell when put in enclosures (not with snakes dont worry!). The hides after making were also submerged in water for over 24 hours.

Has anyone else had any issues like this? and if so what did you do? I don't want to throw out all my hard work :(
