Hi all I was just wondering if I should get a friend for my 6 month old stimson. Any suggestions? I think Felix is a girl. Gulp* we thought he was a boy
If you do house them separately another snake will stress your Felix much more than being alone.

To the pet shop!
I like your style Stimi's are so boring!Fair enough. Either way, no matter the sex or age, if you have one snake on its on, you know it'll be ok - add another and you have to be prepared for possible risk. Yeah, I remember reading about the trio on WAHS.
I keep a m/f pair together and have done since they were smaller - can't recall what age, maybe 10-12 months, but from what I've heard people have done the same as me with no problems, until they day they had a problem. I want to get rid of my stimmies and stick to carpets anyway.
Jungles are carpets.I keep my carpets and jungles together respectively, and they love each other, and will keep my GTP's together, but after seeing so many stimmies with other stimmies inside them, I definitely wouldn't recommend it.

Jungles are carpets.
I hope you understand the risks involved and have also assumed the responsibility to your current snake and have made plans [at the pet shop you are rushing off to I presume] to have it sexed. If you have two males or two females, there could be big trouble and you could go from 1 python to 0 pythons.
Provide plenty of hides on both the hot and cold side.
Do not feed them together inside the click-clack - remove them and feed them in a tub separately.
Snow- were they a m/f pair? I can't remember whose it was.[/QUOTE
I was joking
