i was also thinking it was a yellow faced whip snake. Caught one many years ago. A nice looking snake

no the bite is the same as being bitten by a wasp. Causes pain but nothing major unless you are alergic to bee's

I got bitten on the toe by one and my knee swelled up and ached for hours, it took a fair few largies of home brew to see the pain out
