Also do not think that these reptile are like water dragons as these ones found here spend most of there year living in the desert around completely dried up creeks

Ah, ok. I didnt mean behaviour wise but in that they are a common dragon like EWDs. I have been trying to find information of these dragons and have found some people call them Long-nose Water Dragons and some call them Long-snout Lashtails.
