I have fed my scrub python 4x fuzzy tonight and i think it may of stretched the limit?

Since we put him back in his inclosure he has been standing as if he is still swallowing his food. He has also becume a bit lathergic(doesn't "s" up to you). He is usuall yquite alert.

Could i of over fed him, or would he of reguritated?
I have turned my temperture up a degrees to ensure right temp for digestion..
Any suggestions. Please help..

Dont worry to much if you over feed a snake of course they will get fat but if they are not hungry they will leave there food and not swallow the item just let it be 2 itwms is enough in one feed or up size depending what size/age your scrubbie is

about 1 meter but being a scrubbie he is quite nerrow

thanks still worrying tho

You and your Scrubby will be fine. Its perfectly normal for a snake to become lethargic after a meal.
Is this your first snake mate?

lol na we have 13.. x3dimonds x2prosapines x1bhp x1hypo coastal x1 jungle x2centralians x1murrydarlingxdimond x1 stimpson x1 scrubbie

How do you get to owning a scrubbie without knowing the basics of feeding =\?

Wow, I think my head just exploded trying to understand this post.

So your Scrub is about 1 metre long and he is only eating fuzzies? I'm assuming they are not rabbit fuzzies as you fed it four.
You could probaby bump up the size of a prey item and decrease the amount of animals per feed.
My snakes eat 2.5kg rabbits that about 4 times the girth of my snake.
Scrubs can handle big meals.
I' sure snake will be fine.

Hahah good point...this is why they should be a specialist/restricted species IMO. complacency with scrub pythons isnt a good thing.
you can keep 13 snake and not let them bite you or have mites? this means you can handle a scrub?
i own and and have kept alot of scrubs...one in particular i kept for 3 years with out a bite...one day i walked into her cage and she had me by the neck/throat...at only 9 feet long she held on for 5 minutes..luckily i always have someone with me when handling the bigger scrubs.
point being is ive held a collection of up to 150snakes,elapids,scubs etc.. all fed well, mite and desease free...this doesnt prove i can "handle one" .
not a lecture just a warning ;) smithy.
