I am a pigeon flyer as well as a reptile keeper recently we have a Carpet Python on the Pigeon truck it ate 1 of the Dapto flyers pigeon and another one had a heart attack. If you have any interesting comments about a snake eating something please feel free to post :D:D:D

Hmm, there was a carpet python that ate one of my peachfaces - there were rings of blood all around the hole leading into the nest box! Then it got a budgie and regurgitated it as there was no nest box to hide in - the other budgie broke its neck. Then it got into the big aviary in the back yard and ate another budgie. Last time it came back again to eat our last budgie - I think he got sick of seeing us after each feed as he hasn't come back yet :) There were also 2 larger carpets which came to try and eat Percy the major mitchell - he was not impressed and boy did we hear about that - saved his own life and the other tame birds near him!

A Carpet python in Dapto??? Thats a quite a way south of their range. Are you sure it wasn't a diamond python???
