So our shnakeys have lamps up the top(tall enclosure), but one very rarely goes up the top, stays in his hide mostly. I bought heat mats off Ebay to put on one side of the floor. They are absolutely useless! They actually only heat to 25C & turn themselves off after... not so long!
So any ideas on which types/brands to avoid/are good, if I buy more online? I'm in the sticks, so it's a fair hike to the city & pet shops... But maybe I can mail order from one - tho that's going to be exxy...
