Curious what you guys/gals think of this "Carpet" Python.....does it resemble any "Locale" of Jungle Carpet to anyone? I know being across the world from you, there is no way of knowing what it is...

Would love comments and opinions....please don't mind the aspen dust on him, I will post pics after he has shed...thanks in advance...

Thanks:D.....Carpet Pythons are so variable, they are truely amazing snakes, Being in the United States, I can only dream of being able to go out in nature and see the wide variety of carpets that are in Nature...even specifically Jungles...they can be REALLY variable...even in nature right? that would be awsome to see them in the wild...

To me nothing is more beautiful than a beautiful Jungle Carpet Python....they have been my "Icon" snake since I was a kid...and luckly life has let me enjoy carpets even into my adult years...

that Black and Yellow animal with the spaced out head pattern is a STUNNER :D I wish I owned it thats for sure
It looks amazing. Do you know what locale that animal is from?

As to the locale of your carpet??? I think its too hard to call.. Jungles are so variable in pattern and colour even within the same clutch.
Do you have pics of both parents to assist?

Thanks, I call her "Ndoki" (pronouced NunDookie I think) after the West African rainforest called Ndoki rainforest....She was produced by some good friends of mine.

I have no idea what locale any of my Jungles are....I hear ya on Jungles being so variable...even in the same clutch....we hatched out some Jungles last year from a Striped female and Banded Male...

I would say...1 out of 10....1 being DOG tame and 10 being INSANE agro....I would put her at a 3-4....She doesn't bite...I can take her out and hold her...no problem...but she is always ready to be fed....so...if you reach into her enclosure right away...she will think she is going to be fed...but if you take her out with a hook...and then handle her...she is totally mellow...just a good feeding response...

Here is her future mate...probably about a year or two away from being ready...I am not rushing her...

yeah, she sounds a bit like my girl, whereas my boy strikes at everything that moves.

It feels kinda wierd posting pics of stuff that live in some of your backyards...lol:oops: Its like common to you guys....but like precious...to me...lol

When I was younger I worked in a pet shop....and a couple came in, and asked about our Bearded Dragons...and they said...I can't believe your selling something that is so abundant where we come from...I instantly recognized their accent...and was excited to talk to them, they said they always see them on fence posts...and we where treating them like royalty at our shop....like they where all special...and to us they where...lol, anyway....

Here is another pic....This is the only hatchling from last year we held onto....the rest went to fellow morelia keepers...
