about dieing reptiles.

hi guys i have been a member of ur site for a short time which i must say it has help me out alot. but there is one thing that has got me all the time.
if one of my reptiles was to die tomorrow or when ever it does or dont i have been told i have to kept it in the freeze and let national parks and wildlife no about it.
So do i have to kept it and let them no that it died or just get rigged of it. my self and write it in the book as passed away.
