I just read a comment claiming that captive reptiles weren't pets at all?? ( I'm not singling out the individual, I've read this a few time before..)
I completely disagree with this. How can my 7th generation (possibly more) captive bred pythons be classified as protected native fauna? They serve no conservation purpose what so ever. On the off chance they escaped, were caught by a random person and handed back to the DECCW, would they not be destroyed?
