Edible plants for lizards

hey,
does anyone know any flowers that are safe to have with your reptile? I've got an eastern water dragon who'll eat anything i hold up to him but i want him to catch his own food again (if i'm gone for a day). Are there any flowers/ plants, that lizards can eat safely? I plan on keeping it in the pot but the pot under the substrate, (so it lives).

You can feed him things from a herb garden that you might use in your food. I used to grow all kinds of things for my beardies and they loved it all, especially basil and mint leaves.
