Baden definatley is the expert on GTP's, he has put a lot of time into them. He has pioneered many different ways to keep these animals which are now done by keepers all over the country.

You're kidding of course??? Sorry to disrupt the discussion on skitzy's good news, but anyone who peddles bizarre and incorrect information about reptile keeping, or clearly incorrect assessments of the health of an animal, should be exposed as incorrect, if not incompetent. In this case Baden is WAY offr the mark, as have been his bizarre pronouncement in several GTP threads recently. He is not THE expert he promotes himself to be, and has the potential to mislead newish keepers with all sorts of hocus-pocus ideas which are plain wrong.

All the Rat does is try big note himself and put other down along the way. Baden is a genuine guy who helps anyone out who needs it with no hidden agenda. The rat as I will now call him as also just tried putting him down on other social media. Seriously this kind of behaviour from a self proclaimed know it all ain't needed. You blokes are what is wrong with the hobby. Your both old enough now grow up.

Actually I think I'm old enough, and experienced enough, to be very objective about this. I dislike wacky theories being peddled as fact on forums where there are impressionable and inexperienced keepers, and will always jump on them if correction or clarification is needed.

Personally I'd go with Badens' opinion ... afterall he's the Specialist
It would be interesting to see what happens with this animal down the track

Thanks for your feedback. Baden may be a specialist in his field but so is my reptile vet who thoroughly physically examined the GTP.
Although pictures are worth 1000 words, physically holding and examining it would mean you could get a much closer look. Thus why i'm trusting the opinion of my reptile VET.
