I have never met a snake named monty personally, but i have an old acquiantance that called his childrens python "trouser" i thought that was the funniest name ever for a snake.

Some of mine are named but definately not Monty, I even name our cows but suitable yummy names like chocolate,caramel & liquorice

You guys do realise that there's a reason why Monty would be a popular name amongst python owners, especially those with a taste for excellent comedy. It would be sacrilege not to call your python Monty.
