Hi! Ok I am getting mixed answers to this question so was wondering if someone can help please!

I have just purchased a 4Lx4Hx2W snake enclosure for our new baby diamond python (picture in profile). She is 2 yrs old so not too small - approx 1m long.

Question is am I right to put her straight into that big enclosure or should I, like some suggested, put another container in the enclosure and keep her in that? if so, how big container and for how long? Also (sorry so many questions!) whats the right temperature to keep - Melbourne. and what is the best globe to get for a diamon python.

Thanking you in advance for all your input!

Sorry Asharee133. (still new at this lol)
enclosure: is 4ft high by 4ft long by 2ft wide.
Globe : for that enclosure
Snake: Still at the shop - waiting for the enclosure lol

Cheers

What about the globe and what temperature to keep the enclosure at?

id go a heat emitter over any other heat globe . just remember with all globes and fluro light tubes to cover them with a cage .
