You get to see a good variety of Australian natives in the Military. Especially when you go bush on exercise. Bakes, Army, Navy or RAAF? Corps etc. I had some great encounters with reptiles when posted up north. Wish I had taken more photos! The ones I did take I would have liked them to be as good as the ones you took.
