Cleaning Out Bertha My Burmese Python.
hey there just bought my self one of these Oedura Marmorata's(fat tailed form)THANKS ari.and was just wanting to see any cage set ups of any one that keeps these as well and what size cage would i need for 2 or 3 (1male/2female)
and any more info on them would be nice aswell.
so if any one can post some pics of there set up's that would be great.
i just have him in a tub right now till i work out what sort of cage to get and deck out.

I keep my velvets in 450 wide x 450 deep x 600 high enclosures and run trios in these with plenty of room...
 
I use washed sand,I know of guys that use dried peat as there substrate..I have a hide and branches for them to climb about on..Nah got no pics..can do some tonight if you like...
 
heat cord I use...I set it to 26 in winter and 30 in summer..It is on a microclimate thermostat
 
here is one enclosure..they are all pretty much the same for all my velvets...

I keep my castelnaui pair similar to Ian- 13" L 22" W 27" H.

However, my lone male WA marmorata is in a standard 2foot Aquarium. All Oedura cages have White sand mixed with Crumbled Coir peat. Have logs, sticks, hides etc etc
 
The top two rows in this pic are either marmorata pairs or trios.
