He should be using the bribe for better marks not playing football.

hey if my dad told me he would buy me a snake if i took up netball...i'd do it!!! it will never happen coz my stepmonster of a stepmother just gets tattoos all the time so they never have any money...dad hates tats (except mine)

A father wouldn't bribe a daughter to play netball. He might encourage it in a healthy manner, but there's (probably) an underlying reason he desperately wants his son to play footy, and it's not right.
