it's usually what people do when they want attention after their thread has lost momentum... like after a few weeks or months. not 10 minutes

Interested too, my Jungle, although very young is quite dark towards the tail. I have been wondering if she'll lighten up or if it is more to do with their parentage.

I don't think it'll lighten up. I only have bredlis, so not too familiar with jungles etc, but I do know they get darker as they get older.

it is an interesting question, and i have been racking my brain for an answer. clearly morelia have evolved to have different markings on the tail end (eg bredli with a lot of black, diamonds with brighter yellows), but i cannot fathom how this has been selected for...

whilst pondering this i came up with another question:
why do so many species have barred lips?
it must have some significance because you see it in such a variety of distantly related species.
