Tassie, They look nothing alike at all, even in the first pic thats posted you can clearly see what it is!

yes i said it could be a woma or night tiger but was not sure and posted pics of each so he/she could tell us her/him self

We live in Darwin if that helps. It was in the exact same spot were my partner had hosed down our BHP hide and log the other day.
Im corncerned about our children running around out there.

Google images definetly points me towards night tiger. Thanks for all you help people!

its a brown tree snake
nothing to worry about and a great snake to have around
its is no more a threat than any other snake

Apart from the head and a few minor features it looks very like a Tanami Woma.
Brown Tree snakes are rear fanged and mildly venomous. No worse than a bee sting, unless you have been bitten several times and debveloped a sensitivity to it. They are unlikely to bite unless cornered or harassed. Prior to striking they coil back a third to half of their body into several S-shaped loops - giving you plenty of warning. Basically, it is not a danger.

Uh oh. I've found another snake I like.
Check out the Katherine (N.T.) form of the "Night Tiger" - awsome!!
