im not gay (not that theres anything wrong with that)

but my very first diamond python (bundy) has escaped!!! actualy bundy and his little hussy lola escaped together over night. i searched everywere and looked on this site for ideas.
i have since found lola funny enough on the bathroom bench were i had looked earlyer but when we went out mu missus left the heater light on so i think she must have gone to the warmth.

but no luck with bundy i have methodicly gone from room to room checking every box container matteres couch and clothes looking for him and after i finnish a room i seal it with a line of flower incase he wonders. i have left a heat mat infron of the encloser and fed my other two pythons hoping he will come home for a feed, i then put a rat in a box with a hole just big enough for him to fit in but not out with a full belly.

i would expect he sould come back him and lola have never been seperated sice lola came home, is there anything else i can do. do they usualy venture far ???

i even did some csi like stuff and checked all window ledges for drag marks and theres none so im sure he hasent gotten out . HELP!!!!!!!

I know a friend of mine use to let her snake roam freely around herhouse and it would come back to its enclosure when it wanted to. It was weird at first because I didn't feel 100% comfortable sleeping there knowing that her 9ft snake Oscar was probably around somewhere!!!

But cutting to the chase...if she couldn't find Oscar she would put a rabbit or extra large rat in the enclosure and he would often come back for the feed. He was pretty good, within an hour he was often scented it and went in and all was good!!

Could be an idea...

Regards,
Settle

The flower thing does work as well. I used flower one time when my baby carpet escaped. He ended up being in my dirty cloths basket.

Mum wasn't too impresed when she poured the laundry into the washing machine. But don't worry he is 3yrs old and in good health!!!

Just keep your eyes peeled!!!

thanks i have looked on all the fans and up high. just turned the heat right up so im hoping.

graftonchick i hope you find your spotted i feel your pain. i cant wait a week my missus has a cat and she wont let me leave her out side for too long. bundys only 3yo as well

id be a bit out of place with out me bundy as well lol sorry couldnt help me self
but realy i hope you find him again and keep looking i lost a coastel once and found him a week later in garage in a bucket.......

i know how you feel my very first rep, my marbled velvet gecko Iliad escaped for the 2nd time in his life almost a month ago. first time we lived in a small flat and found him, this time we're in a three strory place and there's just no way he could find him in here :(

I probably wouldn't worry to much, although i havn't lost any yet, everyone that i know that has, have all been reunited with their snakes. A friend of mine lost his 3 mth old spotted last year, and 2 and a half months later they found him in the linnen closet, all snuggled up under a blanket.

i hope i do find him but theres the problem of the blasted cat im not aloud to leave her out so ill have to supervise her every more. bundy escaping is one thing but if he was killed by the cat i would be beside myself
