Some people have little to no research skills. Some breeders are not very helpful. Some people live in country towns with dial up internet and no library. There are plenty of situations that hamper information gathering. And some people are just lazy.

I learned most of the basics from seeing friend's set ups.

i know when i got my first snake and even now even tho i have a lot of knowledge i still ask for advice because there are a lot of people on here that know a lot more then me......that and if it goes horribly wrong i don't feel like an idiot coz someone else thought it was a good idea too
