but you say that its intestines are scarred and he will have more trouble passing poos, doesnt that mean its not alright?

Yeah my friends snake isn't completely okay yet. But because it isn't OPMV then MY snake will be okay.
 
I'm not sure what the age of the snake would have to do with it not having OPMV. I'm not trying to be a downer here but you have to realise that OPMV isn't age specific. Seems like a rather silly statement for a vet to make.

Yeah I agree with you Mick. Like i said the vet can't be certain without killing the snake first. He also seemed to think that because the snake was in encruciating pain when he was having the fit he said that's not a symptom of OPMV. Apparently they don't suffer any pain :?

I'm assuming what he was getting at with the age thing was because he is so young it is unlikely that he would be showing symptoms like that already if it was OPMV. But i dunno
