Taipan? EB? what type?
I find positive reinforcement helps, let it know that if it behaves you'll take it out to a nice dinner and a movie, things like that.
What kind of snake?
Generally a snake cannot be 'tamed' but you can aclimatise it to being less aggressive and more docile.
If they are snappy to handle, the best way to beat that is to be persistent. Continue to handle until it slowly figures out you're not a threat and there's nothing to fear.
That said some snakes are just bastards and will never settle.
How about some real details Jayden, ok so it's a Jungle... how old? How long have you had it? What type of behaviour are you trying to tame (striking at the glass or grabbing your finger and constricting it or tagging you in the face)? What is it housed in and where? Is it Slytherin00's 'snappy' jungle? Do you keep it in a drawer and brick it when it's naughty?
Sorry couldn't help slipping in a poke at Fulmer and Slytherin... My bad!
Being a Jungle it will be slightly more snappy than other snakes, unfortunate really. But I suggest as Badsville said just be persistent. Personally I found that if your a tad nervous of the bite your first handle perhaps use a glove that way its got use to its first sorta handle, then the second time just go bare hands, I found that worked for me, helped me get over the initial fear. If its a hatchy from my experience the bite won't hurt kinda felt like resting your hands on some biers.

hahahahaha sorry man but that just made me laugh so hard lol doesn't cut it , you actually got fined and inspected , did you dob yourself in ? cairns parks and wildlife officers must of been having a christmas party , did you explain it was only because it was because you couldn't handle it , id think they would have some sympathy that law is in place to stop people buying clutches then on selling in a few days for profit from my understandingI wasn't stating I had extensive knowledge, I was simply offering tips which I found helped me, yes i do not have my Jungle anymore and I only handled it five times, however I thought the OP might find that tip useful, its completely up to him what he decides to do.
And as for the other comment, it worked out fine for me I was able to handle my former Jungle for brief periods. If your referring to my experience with National Parks for selling my snake before the six months, then in that case it was a $400 and officers had to inspect my current set up I have for a Childrens Python I will be getting.
Best way for me is stick your in the cage get bit a couple times eventually the realize it does nothing and just play with it in it's enclosure to tell it it's not getting fed and also fed in a separate enclosure or shoe box or something. Work for my 3 jungle.
P.S be patient it won't happen over night give it a month or so before you go letting someone else grap it

Do you reckon you might jump in and give that an edit so it's easier to understand without all the typos?
