I have to agree with this, the biggest have always looked unusually thin, and rather docile, maybe they are to old and slow to hunt effectively but im not expert, i can only go on what i have seen.It's big - but without a tape measure over it, who knows?
It's interesting to note that three out of four of the 3.1m + Carpets I have seen have been slender. The overweight one had been kept in squalor and pumped full of food for years, before it was handed over to a wildlife park.
