Hello, my name is Lars and I'm from Germany. I joined that forum for many months now.
I must really say that your forum is amazing. I love Australia and when I was a child I always
wanted to emigrate to Australia. I keep several amphibians and reptiles but most of them
are non-Australian ones. It's very difficult to get Australian pets here in Germany.
But I keep Morelia spilota cheynei, Tiliqua scincoides intermedia, Underwoodisaurus milii,
Litoria aurea and Litoria caerulea.
I know that you love to watch pics but I only have pics from my Tiliqua and the Underwoodi-
saurus at the moment. I hope you like them.
A lot of greetings from Germany!!!
Lars

cheers:)

welcome to APS Lars,
there some nice looking blueys and millis youve got there

Thank you all for your nice welcome!
@inthegrass
Well, you can keep whatever you want. We don't need a licence in Germany.
If you intend to keep pythons or boas you need a permission from your hometown.
And of course the papers for the animals that are endangered.
You can even keep crocs or big monitors if you get a permission for them.
I show you a few pics of what I keep at the moment.

Hello, well it's very difficult to become some Australian Geckos.
And they are very expensive. For example a pair of Strophurus taenicauda
costs 3.230,00 Australian Dollars!!!
Juvenile Nephrurus amyae costs a single gecko about 808,00 Australian Dollars!
The new trend in Germany are Bearded Dragons. The price for them is now about
16,00 Australian Dollars for juvenils and the normal colours. In the 80's the price for
babys was about 242,00 Australian Dollars!!!
And a Jungle Jaguar Python baby costs about 2424,00 Australian Dollars.
The Morelia bredlis costs 3 years before about 5.000,00 Australian Dollars.
Now if you're very lucky you can buy them for 1.455,00 Australian Dollars a baby pair.

Those prices rnt all that different to australia. Maybe the stropurus is a bit expencive but amyae are atleast that price here. Beardies are usually bottom grade 80 top grade up to 200 for hatcies.

Unbelievable Lars! They are absolutely breathtaking ... my best friend is in germany... i miss her. you guys must be pretty good for her to stay away from aus for so long.

@serenaphoenix
Is your best friend for studying in Germany?
In which city does she live?
When will she come back to Australia?
Please don't be so sad. I'm sure she'll miss you and the amazing Australia
in the same way like you do.
