Diamonds / Carpets same snake anyway, There seems to be more and more full blown carpets turning up in the wilds of Sydney every year so it may not be too long before more southern diamonds look like port macs anyway.

they are the same species but different sub species so not the same snake

There also macs, corns, shinglebacks etc also turning up locally. This is just due to people loosing their animals or not looking after them properly.
