there is good pet shops such as pails for scales.
It is just as cris said some shops are good some shops are bad. Some breeders are good some breeders are bad. Hopefully if we keep focusing on the good ones then the bad ones will have to eventually either a. Change there ways. b. Close or stop keeping retiles. This goes for shops and breeders.
Cheers
good point. one of the worst shops ive seen was in springvale.Sadly, bad shops typically sell more and make more money, because most bleeding hearts don't understand that by "saving the neglected or sick animals in the shop" they are funding poaching and torture, which causes it to happen more and more, while sending the good (or at least better) guys out of business, further increasing the incidence of poaching, torture, etc.
Some breeders are better than others, some shops are better than others, but shops have inherent problems which are simply impossible to avoid (increased costs, parasite and disease transfer, extra moves, the public harassing the animals, the breaking of the link between the breeder's knowledge and the new keeper, etc etc), as well as the increased ease of poaching, and all of the others.... then of course there are the horrors of what goes on when the inevitable neglect and poaching start up!
