Is your snake cage defensive?

My jungle just gets really interested when I start lifting the lid off her tank doesn't go into S shape until I go to get her with the hook. I wouldn't call it aggressive just interested in wats goin on. (I also feed her In her tank) Putting her back in is the hard part! Lol

Am i the only one who finds the hooks awkward and annoying? I just use my hands to get my girl out
